This money holder has a very nice yet simple design that functions very well and allows space for initials. Beautifully made and can hold credit or business cards as well.
Strikingly simple in a rich and luxurious manner with weight and elegance, enhanced by four round cabochon cut natural sapphires totalling approx .75 Ct, only the House of Cartier can bring forth.
One of the two bars with sapphires turns up and down to open the holder and allow to insert notes or cards.
Artfully crafted in 18 Kt yellow gold, signed by Cartier London, English hallmarks with assay, city, date 1934 ca, maker J. C standing for Jacques Cartier and serial number.
Very good overall condition, wear to one of the top bars as shown through photos.
