Victorian charm and sensibility reign with elegance in its balanced proportions, the deep red hued gem is beautifully paired yellow green chrysoberyl and vivid hot pink rubies displaying the tenets of this era’s jewelry.
A luminous plum hued almandine garnet, oval flat cut with closed back, of approx .54 Ct estimated resonate with the eye and soul, sided by two sparkling oval cut chrysoberyls totalling approx .36 Ct glowing with their uniquely complelling colour.
Dotted with eight, in total, round cut natural vibrant red rubies totalling approx .33 Ct.
All the gems are closed back, placed in individual modified castellated bezels of gold. Interspersed throughout the top and appointing the outside borders of the mounting are small orbs of gold. Turned wire work on the under-gallery adds visual interest as delicate incised patterns decorate the shank.
Artfully crfted in 18 Kt yellow gold, during Victorian era, in England Birmingham, by a master goldsmith EC, marked.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
