Reflective of the romantic feelings from late Victorian era is this lovely heart shape natural opal and diamond ring.
An ethereal opal heart shape cabochon of .70 carats offers a palette of colors that appear otherworldly. Shifting in and out of focus, the hues play with the light. Kinetic orange, robin’s egg blue, puffs of vibrant green and kisses of red (the rarest of opal hues) all come together in a breath taking dance.
Victorian charm and sensibility reign with elegance in its balanced proportions, the vibrant opal is beautifully framed by a halo of sparkling diamonds, seventeen in all, old cuts totalling approx .57 Ct of pure flashes of light.
With shoulders decorated that taper gradually to a plain shank, timeless and classic style, every aspect of the ring visually strikes a chord. Artfully crafted in 18 Kt yellow gold marked with assay and English crown, partially worn and hard to read.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
